Halloween/Sudbury Move

Happy Halloween everyone!

Here’s a couple of pics of the pumpkins we carved this year:

Also,  we moved K’s parents to their new place in Sudbury.  Let me tell you, moving in 10-15cm of snow is so not cool.  Add that with the crappy UHaul we got (more on this story later), and makes one hell of a move.  All-in-all, move went smoothly.. hectic, but we got it all done.

Good reading, good watching

Recently, I’ve been doing a lot of reading.  I picked up and started reading Eragon, the first book of the Inheritance Trilogy.  The book was great and well written.  It was also written, at the time, by a high-school graduate and became a best-seller when the author was 19.  I was so impressed that I picked up the second book, Eldest (I didn’t know it was a trilogy at the time of the first book :P).  Excellent excellent read.  Can’t wait for the final chapter to come out!  More info on the books here.

Also,  I’ve been caught up in some great shows on the boob-tube this season.  Favourites include Heroes, Lost (of course), and Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip.  I love watching Heroes; something about the whole comic book in reality with a good cliffhanger storyline and a cast of mainly no-name actors.  Highly recommend.

Oh them crazy Canucks….

wherever there’s MJ, us Canucks are sure to be close by. Story here

Wedding//Gobble Gobble//Idea for Wii

Tomorrow, K and I are headed to Taleen and Rob’s wedding.  It’s a little bit of a trek between the church and reception, especially on the long weekend, but it’ll be a blast.  Congrats to the two of you!!  Plus, it looks like the weather will hold up, afterall! 🙂

Happy Turkey (Thanksgiving) weekend!  Mmmmm.. turkey… 🙂

I’ve been playing a lot of foosball in the office lately and thought to myself that this would make a great addition to Wii Sports.  I’m sure foos/table soccer is big around the world and with the motion and acceleration sensing capabilities of the controller, it would make sense.  Now who do I talk to about this…
